British Red Cross – Emergency Appeal: COVID in South Asia

Given the fast-changing landscape, the key to emergency appeal DRTV ads is to be able to get them on-air as quicky as possible, to maximise the amount of funds they can bring in for a particular cause. This is a very simple creative which involves a full-screen banner and an urgent VO script imploring people to help British Red Cross carry out their essential humanitarian aid work in parts of South Asia that are at risk of being overwhelmed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The simplicity and starkness of the ad is designed to emphasise the urgency of the appeal. We worked closely with the client to get the layout of the GFX right to source a suitable VO artist, record in the script and to get the creative cleared and delivered in record speed.
