We loved working with the brilliant Reverend Kate Bottley on a series of fast-turnaround TV and digital ads for the charity Christian Aid. They are doing vital humanitarian work in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. They are working in refugee camps in Northern Nigeria where people have fled from Boko Haram and in camps in Bangladesh where the Rohingya people have fled from persecution in Myanmar. Christian Aid are doing all they can to limit the potential devastating impact that the spread of Coronavirus could have on these communities by providing clean water, hand-washing training and food packages. Christian Aid Week (10-16 May 2020) is critical to the charity’s fundraising model but due to Covid-19, almost all of their planned fundraising events had to be cancelled or moved to online at short notice. We sincerely hope that the TV and digital ads that we have collaborated with them on will help to keep the pennies trickling in during this vital time.
